Song of the Day: You’re the One That I Want by John Farrar (cover by Lo-Fang)

lo

Originally written by John Farrar and performed by John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John in the 1978 film musical Grease, this slowed down and chilled out cover of the song features vocals by the American musician Lo-Fang.

Lyrics:

I’ve got chills.
They’re multiplying.
And I’m losing control.
‘Cause the power
You’re supplying,
Is electrifying

You better shape up,
‘Cause you need a man
And my heart is set on you.
You better shape up,
You better understand
To my heart I must be true.

You’re the one that I want,
The one that I want,
The one that I need.

If you’re feeling
Some affection,
That’s too hard to convey.
Meditated,
By direction.
Baby feel your weight.

You better shape up,
‘Cause you need a man
And my heart is set on you.
You better shape up,
You better understand
To my heart I must be true.

You’re the one that I want,
The one that I want,
The one that I want.
The one that I need
