Marble Caves of Chile Chico

Marble caves of Chile

The Cuevas de Mármol are carved into the Patagonian Andes on a peninsula of solid marble bordering Lake General Carrera, a glacial lake between the Chile-Argentina border.
Formed by wave action over the last 6,200 years
The amazing reflections of the lake’s azure waters on the smooth cavern walls change in intensity depending on water levels and time of year.
The caves are accessible only by boat, weather and water conditions permitting.
