Textile Moths by Yumi Okita

These beautiful textile moths, by North Carolina-based artist Yumi Okita, are larger than they might have seemed at first glance. The moth here above is about 5 inch (13 cm) tall and 10 1/2 inch (26 cm) wide.
The wings are made from cotton fabric and the body is made from fake fur. It is hand painted and hand embroidered with details.
